Emma Holmes
Emma Holmes was born in Waynesboro, Georgia, but moved to Savannah, Georgia with her adoptive parents when she was only an infant.  She began singing Gospel Music publicly at 8 years old.  She continued singing and at 13 years old she was asked to join David Taylor and the Pearlie Gates.  She was also one of the soloists for the Savannah Community Mass Choir under the direction of Mr. E. Larry McDuffy.

Emma has spent her entire life in gospel music in various capacities.  She has served as a worship leader in her local church, recorded with various artists in Jacksonville, Florida where she now resides, and frequently performed as a guest on the Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel Show.  Most recently she recorded on the Emtro Gospel Label with the Word and Worship Mass Choir, under the direction of Bishop Rudolph McKissick, Jr.  The project is entitled Intimate Worship; she is the lead soloist on the song, It Must Be the Lord.  In 2002 she organized a choir and named them the Love, Joy and Peace Choir.   She has worked as a gospel radio announcer and is an active member of the Gospel Announcers Guild in Jacksonville, Florida.

After being out of school for 25 years, she went back to college and earned her B.S. Degree from Savannah State College.  She then relocated to Jacksonville, Florida and later earned a Master’s Degree from Phoenix University.

Emma’s goal is to deliver the “good news” that Christ died for our sins, every time she sings.

Ira L. Shy

Ira L. Shy, affectionately known as Shy is a native of Wilmington, Delaware. He started singing in Church at 5 years old and has never stopped. In his earlier life, Shy spent time in and out of prison, but God still had a plan for his life. God transformed him completely and moved him from a life of wrong to a life of righteousness.

Most of the songs on his CD, "I Need Someone To Sing To" were written over years in prison as God processed Shy from sinner to saint. So today he knows who it is that he sings to, but most importantly he knows who he sings for.

His CD is availabe in the Victorious Life Ministries Store.

For ministry engagements, contact Shy at (302) 230-6058

He currently resides in Columbia, South Carolina and is a dedicated member of Brookland Baptist Church.
